UPPSC J.E Civil, Mechanical, Agricultural Written Test Syllabus & Pattern of Paper

Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission has issued the notification recently for the scheme of examination for Junior Engineer post. The test will be conducted very soon. The candidates can prepare through the previous year papers. This is the best way to prepare fast & to the point. More be the practice of solving paper, better will be the result & increase their chances of selection. Pattern of Examination :- There are total three test will be conducted for final selection. 

• General Hindi - 50 Marks - 3 hours
• Mechanical/Electrical/Agricultural Engineering Paper - 150 Marks - 3 Hours
• Personality Test - 50 Marks

Civil Engineering (Diploma Course) Paper I Syllabus :- General Civil Engineering

• Part A - Strength of Material & Theory of Structure, Stress& Strain, Design of reinforced concrete structure, Steel & Machinery Structure.
• Part B - Soil Mechanics & Foundation Engineering, Surveying, Building Material & Construction, Water Supply & sanitation for public building.

Civil Engineering (Diploma Course) Paper II Syllabus :- Water resource engineering

• Introduction of Irrigation, Rain Fall & Run Off, Water Requirement of Crop, Lifts irrigation, Flow Irrigation, canal head works, regulatory works, cross drainage works, dams, water logging & drainage, food protection, irrigation management, Major Irrigation projection in India, Fluid Mechanics.

Mechanical Engineering (Diploma Course) Paper I Syllabus :-

• Part A - Applied Mechanics, Theory of Mechanics & Automobile technology, Mechanics of solids.
• Part B - Material Science, Design & estimation, Industrial Engineering.

Mechanical Engineering (Diploma Course) Paper II Syllabus :-

• Part A - Thermal Engineering, Refrigeration & air conditioning, Hydraulics & Hydraulics Mechanics.
• Part B - Manufacturing Processes, Machine Tool Technology & Maintenance, workshop practice & production technology.

Electrical Engineering (Diploma Level) Paper I Syllabus :-

• Section A - Basic Electrical Engineering, Electrical & Electronics Engineering Material, Electronics, Electrical Machine.
• Section B - Electrical Instruments & measurement, power plant engineering, transmission & distribution of electrical power, electronics.

Electrical Engineering (Diploma Level) Paper II Syllabus :-

• Section A - Installation Maintenance & repair of electrical machine, switch gear & protection, Industrial Electronics & control.
• Section B - Electrical design, drawing & estimation, electrical machine-II, control of electrical machine, process control & instrumentation, electric traction, non conventional source of energy & appropriate technology.

Electrical Engineering (Industrial Control) Diploma Stream Syllabus :-

• Section A - Installation, maintenance & repair of electrical machine, switch gear & protection, industrial control.
• Section B - Industrial control-II, Control System & process application, principles of digital electronic, electrical & electronics instrumentation..

Agriculture Engineering (Diploma Level) Paper I Syllabus :-

• Section A - Farm Power Engineering & non conventional source of energy, Non conventional energy (bio gas technology)
• Section B - Post Harvest Technology & Agro Based Industries, Farm & land development machinery.

Agriculture Engineering (Diploma Level) Paper II Syllabus :-

• Section A - Irrigation & drainage engineering, minor irrigation.
• Section B - Soil & water conservation & land reclamation engineering.
