Scheme of (Indian Economics Services) IES Examination :- It consists of 6 papers & maximum time allotted for each paper is 3 hours.

  • Paper-I : General English - 100 Marks
  • Paper-II : General Studies - 100 Marks
  • Paper-III : General Economics-I - 200 Marks
  • Paper-IV : General Economics-II - 200 Marks
  • Paper-V : General Economics-III - 200 Marks
  • Paper-VI : Indian Economics - 200 Marks

Scheme of Indian Statistical Services (ISS) Examination :-

  • Paper-I : General English - 100 Marks
  • Paper-II : General Studies - 100 Marks
  • Paper-III : Statistics - 200 Marks
  • Paper-IV : Statistics - 200 Marks
  • Paper-V : Statistics - 200 Marks
  • Paper-VI : Statistics - 200 Marks

General Economics-I Syllabus :- Theory of Consumer's Demand, Theory of Production, Theory of Value, Theory of Distribution, Welfare Economics, Mathematical Method in Economics, Statistical & Economical Method.

General Economics-II Syllabus :- Economics Thought, Theory of Employment Output,Inflation, Money & Finance, Financial & Capital Market, Economic Growth & Development, International Economics, Balance of Payment, Global Institution.

General Economics-III Syllabus :- Public Finance, Environmental Economics, Industrial Economics, State, Market & Planning.

Indian Economy :- History of Development & Planning, Federal Finance, Budgeting & Fiscal Policy, Poverty Unemployment & Human Development, Agriculture & Rural Development Strategies, Indian Experience with Urbanization & Migration, Industrial Strategies of Industrial Development, Labour, Foreign  Trade, Money & banking, Inflation.
