AP Forest/Assistant Beat Officer Written Test Syllabus/Scheme of Examination
Andhra Pradesh Forest Department has published the syllabus & scheme of examination for the written test of Assistant & Forest Beat Officer, Forest Section Officer, Thanadar & Bunglow Watcher jobs today. The exam will be conducted from date 11th to 25th May, 2014. Other queries like category wise cut off marks, answer keys, negative marking, time schedule etc are provided below.

Paper - I : General Essay
- General Science - Contemporary Developments in Science & Technology & the implication including matters of every day observations & experience, as may be expected of a well educated person who has not made a special study of any scientific discipline.
- Current events of National & International importance.
- History of India - emphasis will be on board general understanding of the subject in its Social, economic, cultural & political aspects with a focus on the AP Indian National Movement.
- World Geography & Geography of India with a focus on AP.
- Indian Polity & Economy - including the Country's political system - rural development - planning & economic reforms in India.
- Mental Ability - Reasoning & Interface.
- State Syllabus - up to 10th Class (SSC)
- Current syllabus prescribed for the above subject by the state board of technical education.
