RBI Officer Written Test Syllabus / Examination Pattern

Scheme of Examination -

- Phase-I Online Examination - This paper for 200 marks will be held on August 2/3/9/10, 2014. The paper consists test of (i) General Awareness, (ii) English Language, (iii) Quantitative Aptitude, (iv) Reasoning. The maximum time allotted will be 130 minutes.
- Phase-II Written Examination (Descriptive Type) - The phase-II exam will be held in September/October, 2014.
- Paper-I - English (ii) - Essay writing, Precis writing, Comprehension & Business/Office correspondence.
- Paper-II - Economics & Social Issue - Growth & Development, Measurement of Growth, National Income & per capita income, Poverty alleviation & employment generation in India, Sustainable Development & Environmental Issue, Economic reference of India, balance of payment, Gender issue, social issue, Indian Political system, Regulation of banks & Indian political system, Human development etc.
- Paper-III - Finance & Management, Finance - The Union budget, Financial Sector Reforms, Capital Market, Role of Incentive in building up Morale, Barrier of communication, Role of Information Technology etc. Management - The management process, planning, organization, the role of manager in a organization, Human resource Development etc.
