MRB Assistant Surgeon Written Test Syllabus/Examination Pattern/Answer Keys/Cut off Marks
Medical Service Recruitment Board has announced the written test syllabus for the post of Assistant Surgeon (MBBS/Dental) in the next month. The test will be held on date 28th September 2014. Those friends who applied for this can check the scheme of examination, answer keys, cut off marks, admit card etc on the official website of MRB.
Scheme of Examination (Objective Type)
Subject - Max. Marks - Minimum Qualifying Marks
Written examination in OMR - sheet Objective type single paper
1. The question paper in subject 'Medical Sciences' and 'Dental Medicine' will be set in English and will contain 200 objective questions each. There will be no negative mark for the wrong answer.
2. The questions will be in the standard of undergraduate level (M.B.B.S. & B.D.S. Level) as per the case.
Center of Examination :-
Examination will be held at Chennai.

Note :-
1. Candidates should appear for the examination at their expenses and no TA/DA will be paid.
2. Shortlisted candidates will be called for verification of the original certificates and claimed in their
online app. form (as detailed in Annexure-3 of this notification).
3. There will no Oral Test for the post.

- Exam for Asst. Surgeon (General & Dental) - 100 - 30 (SC/ST/SCA) - 35 (Others).
- Duration - 2.30 hours
