Lok Sabha Secretariat Vacancy 2014 - Stenographer Written Test Syllabus/ Staff car Driver Exam Pattern

Lok Sabha Secretariat has invited the application form for the various posts of Staff Car Driver & Stenographer jobs recently. There are total 45 posts. Name & No. of the Vacancy :-

• Stenographer (English/Hindi) - 41 Posts
• Staff Car Driver (Ordinary Grade) - 4 Posts

Pay Scale :-

• Stenographer - ₹ 9300-34800/- + G,P ₹ 4200/-
• Staff Car Driver - ₹ 5200-20200/- + G.P ₹ 2400/-

Eligibility Criteria  :-

• For Stenographer - Bachelor Degree in any Discipline & possessing a Certificate in Computer Course recognized by All India Council for Computer Education( minimum speed of 80 words per minute) & maximum age is 27 years.
• For Staff Car Driver - Matriculation & valid commercial LMV/HMV license & skill & experience in Driving Motor Vehicle & maximum age is 27 years.

Application Procedure : Offline mode.

Selection Method - Written Test, Skill Test & Interview

Stenographer Written Test :- Maximum time 50 minutes
Preliminary Exam :-

• Part-A - General Knowledge & Current Affairs - 50 Marks
• Part-B - General English (50 Multiple Choice Objective Type Question) - 50 Marks

Descriptive Type Written Test & Stenography Test :-

• Essay (50 Marks), Letter (35 Marks) & Grammar (15 Marks) - 100 Marks - 2 Hours
• Stenography Test at 80 wpm in English/Hindi - 100 Marks - 10 Minutes
