Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission is going to conduct the online written examination for the post of Assistant Statistical Investigator job. The online test will be conducted on 11th July, 2015. - Unit - II : Probability - Addition, Multiplication & Bays Theorems & their application, Tchebychev's inequality, Random Variables - Univariate & Bivariate - probability distribution. Marginal & Conditional distribution - Expectation - Movement & cumulants genevating functions Discrite Distribution - Binomial poisson, Geometric & Hypergeometric, Continuous Distribution - Uniform, exponential & normal.
- Unit - III : Curve Fitting - Linear & Quadratic Equation by the method of least squares. Correlation & Regression.
- Unit - IV : Population & Sample - Parameter & Statistic, sampling distribution & standard error, student's 't'chi square & F Statistics - Distribution & their applications.
