TPSC Jr. Engineer Written Test Syllabus / Exam Pattern /Cut Off Marks / Solution / Answer Keys

 Tripura Public Service Commission has finally decided to conduct the written examination for the Vacancy of Junior engineer TES Garde-V(B), Jr. Engineer Grade-II posts. The written test will be held on date 13th December, 2013. Those friends who applied for this engineering jobs can download the written test syllabus & pattern through the official website @ www.tnpsc.gov.in. The interested person can also easily download this by click on the links given below.

 Examination Pattern :- The written test contains 500 marks shall consist of one compulsory paper named "General Studies" of One hour carry 100 marks & two optional papers in the appropriate branch of engineering of three hour duration carry 200 marks each.

 Paper-I Syllabus (General Studies) :-

  • Comprehension of Given Passage - 20 Marks
  • Usage (Corrections) - 10 Marks
  • Vocabulary (Synonyms, Antonyms, Idioms & Phrases) - 10 Marks
  • General Knowledge - 20 Marks
  • Current Affairs - 20 Marks
  • Mental Ability - 20 Marks

Paper-II & III - Engineering Subjects :-

  • 15 questions having answer restrict to 40 words - 90 marks
  • 40 multiple choice questions - 80 marks
  • 05 Numerical Questions - 30 marks

Cut Off Marks :-

  • For General Category : 40 %
  • For Reserved Category : 30 %
