State Council of Education Research & Training Punjab has recently issued the notification for Punjab State Teacher Eligibility Test. The examination will be held on date 10th August, 2014. Those friends who completed their B.Ed/J.B.T courses or final exam appeared can apply online through the official website @ http://tetpunjab.com. The other important details like eligibility criteria, exam date, last year cut off marks, answer keys, schedule, e-admit card etc are described below.

Eligibility Criteria :-
  • For Primary Teacher (Class-I to V) - 12th Passed with 50% marks + JBT Diploma.
  • For Elementary Teacher (Class-VI-VIII) - Graduation (50% marks) + B.Ed 
Application Procedure :-
  • The candidate first have to login in to the website through the link provided below.
  • Select the Online Application Form query & start filling the application form.
  • The candidate have to enter their all required details like their name, date of birth, address, academic qualification etc & finally submit the online application.
  • Take a print out of this confirmation page & examination fees challan & pay the fees.
  • Send the application form to " Post Box No.1828, Post Office Sector 62, Mohali (Punjab), Pin Code 160062" through ordinary post only.

  • For General/OBC Category Both Paper - ₹1200/-
  • For Gen. Category One Paper - ₹ 600/-
  • For SC/ST Category Both Paper - ₹ 600/-
  • For SC/ST Cate. One Paper - ₹ 300/-
