OSSC Junior Engineer (Civil & Public Health) Previous Year Questions Papers/Cut Off Marks/Answer Keys/Results
Plan of Examination :-
The examination shall consist of the following stages :
Syllabus of Examination :- The question of this paper will be of objective type from the Diploma courses to answer 100 questions carrying 100 marks. The questions will be of objective type based on the 2nd and 3rd years diploma in Civil Engineering courses of study of SCTE&VT and the candidates will be required to answer in OMR format or Online. There will be negative marking (0.25 marks) for each wrong answer.
The gist of the syllabus of the syllabus of the written examination is as described below.The syllabus is indicative and not exhaustive. The question will be both on theory and application part on each of the topic.
(a) Hydraulics
(b) Survey
(c) Civil Engineering materials
(d) Constructions Technology
(e) Structural Analysis
(f) Transportation Engineering
(g) Irrigation Engineering
(h) Estimating
(i) Structural Design
(j) Public Health Engineering
(k) Construction Management
(l) Advanced Construction Technology

- (b) Weightage on career evaluation
- (i) High School Certificate - 40 marks
- (ii) Certificate in Diploma in Engineering - 60 marks
