Chandigarh Transport Undertaking (CHDCTU) has publish the syllabus & scheme of examination for the written test of Helper Posts. The test will be conducted in the mid of September/ October 2014.The test will be held for 75 Posts. Others query like category wise cutoff mark, answer key, negative marking, time schedule etc are provided below.

All the eligible candidates will be called for written test. The written test will be of objective type having multiple choice answer. The question paper for written test (Objective Type) will consist of two parts 'A' & 'B' as under :-

• Part 'A' (Trade-wise) - Question based on the relevant trades (60% of total question).
• Part 'B' (Common for all) - General Knowledge/ General Awareness and General Safety at Workshop (40% of the total question).

The number of questions will be 100 to 120 carrying one marks for each. There will be no negative marking. The duration of written test will be two hours. The final selection will be made on the basis of the merit of the written test. If more than one candidate are at the same cut off point/marks, the candidate older in age will be consider for selection. There will be no personal interview. The waiting list in each category will also be prepared.
